Hondo (#40) Daishido (#40)

History
Kūkai founded this temple in 807. It is the farthest away from Ryōzenji (#1). The Hakkaku Hall displays various temple treasures and the Hachitai-butsu statue is said to fulfill wishes if it is covered with water. The Main Hall was rebuilt in 1964. [Provided by Shikoku Japan 88 Route Guide]
