History
During the early 8th century, Gyōki founded this temple. The name of this temple is Triangular Temple which originates from the triangular goma altar used by Kūkai to exterminate a troublesome ghost which lived in this area. People believe that the main deity will ward off misfortune and allow for easy childbirth. People give a rice paddle if their prayers come true. [Provided by Shikoku Japan 88 Route Guide]

Part Ⅰ goes downhill and has good view.
Part Ⅱ has various choices.
Route AE is an old pilgrimage road.
Route B is a tunnel route established in the 1980s.
Routes C and D are also old routes.
Distance: A: 19.3 km. B: 20.0 km.C: 20.2 km.D: 20.9 km
Elevation change: +557.3 m (about 350 meters descending and about 900 meters climbing)
